When you work with full-time agents you get the experience that comes with it including the best way to prepare offers that will favor your chances of buying your dream home.

Buying a home can be one of the most exciting and fun parts of your life! We at Nardozzi Real Estate have broken down our top six tips for purchasing a home in South Florida.

1. Save Your Down Payment

Many people believe 20% down is needed to purchase a home, but the truth is there are many loans that only require 3.5% down!

2. Get Pre-Approved

Before you start house hunting we highly recommend speaking to a mortgage lender to begin your pre-approval process. Most sellers will not entertain any offers unless a pre-approval is attached. This shows the seller you are qualified and ready to buy! Contact us for lender recommendations to begin your pre-approval process. It is quick, easy and can be done over the phone or online!

3. Create a Wish List

Put together a wish list that is realistically within your budget. Don’t forget to include your necessities, non-negotiables and bonus items.

4. Get an Inspection

“After you are under contract on your dream home, we highly recommend getting a home inspection to evaluate the safety and overall condition of your new home. We will be happy to recommend highly rated home inspectors!

5. Order an Appraisal

Order an appraisal to determine your home’s worth. This will be ordered by your mortgage lender after you are under contract.

6. Closing Day

Once appraised, we move on to the closing and you move into your new home!
